Notes
 - Kale Clague, the 6th overall pick in the 2013 Bantam Draft, will make his WHL Playoff debut tonight, drawing into Brandon's lineup in place of Taylor Green on the Wheat Kings' defence.  The rest of Brandon's lineup remains unchanged from the opening two games.  Kord Pankewicz, Tyler Coulter, Braylon Shmyr, Brett Kitt and Curtis Honey (finger) join Green as scratches.

- scoring first is important in every game, but it probably hasn't been as important for the Brandon Wheat Kings all season as it is tonight.  Not only was the club shutout in the first two games, but Edmonton also had 2-0 leads after the opening 20 minutes in both Games One and Two.  The Oil Kings were either ahead or tied in 50 of their 72 regular season games and five of six playoff games so far this spring.  Their record is 46-7-2-0 when they happens.

- a little trivia nugget I found out today.  The Oil Kings don't have one Manitoban on their roster (per say), but defenceman Ashton Sautner was born in Flin Flon back on May 27, 1994.  Father Blaine, a former captain of the Brandon University Bobcats, started his coaching career with the SJHL's Flin Flon Bombers.
