  Three member of the Brandon Wheat Kings are in top 50 among North American Skaters in the NHL Central Scouting Service's final rankings for the 2014 NHL Draft.

  John Quenneville is ranked 23rd, Jayce Hawryluk is 37th and Richard Nejezchleb is 50th.

  Jordan Papirny is ranked 24th among North American goaltenders was Richards Bukarts also made the rankings at 208th among skaters.

  Eklkhorn product Travis Sanheim of the Calgary Hitmen is ranked 53rd while others of interest including former Wheat King Taylor Cooper of the Lethbridge Hurricanes at #160 and former Virden Oil Capital Ty Edmonds of the Prince George Cougars being 18th among goaltenders.

  The NHL Draft will be held June 27-28 in Philadelphia.
