Wiebe Headed to Switzerland

  Former Wheat Kings' captain Shayne Wiebe is headed overseas.

  Wiebe has signed with EHC Olten in Switzerland, a one-year deal plus an option for one more.

  The Brandon product split last season between the AHL's Connecticut Whale and the ECHL's Greenville Road Warriors.


  Meanwhile, Brandon product Dean Evason has signed a contract extension with the Milwaukee Admirals and will be the team's head coach through the 2014-2015 season.

  Evason led the Admirals to a 41-28-4-3 record in his first season behind their bench last year.
