However, the Wheat Kings wouldn't find the net again while Regina scored six times over the final 24 minutes and 33 seconds to skate away with a 7-3 victory.
Lane Scheidl and Braden Christoffer scored a pair of goals each for Regina, who scored seven goals in a game for the first time this season.
Scheidl two goals were particularly hurtful to Brandon's cause as they came with 4:33 and 21 seconds left in the second period to erase a 3-1 deficit and send the teams into the final frame tied 3-3.
Regina then added four more goals over the final 20 minutes to skate away with just their second win in the last 13 games.
"We let one line of their keys guys hurt us. They got life on the first goal, we should have realized what was at stake at that point," said Brandon coach Dwayne Gylywoychuk on CKLQ's post-game show, "Then, we let them score that other goal and they took life in the third period and they wanted it more in the third."
Roy opened the scoring for Brandon in the first period and now has six goals in the last nine games and 13 on the season while Jayce Hawryluk had a pair of assists for extend his point-scoring streak to six games for the Wheat Kings.
"We can't let up in the third period. We need to keep in the pedal down and we just need to be smarter in the neutral zone," said Hawryluk, "I think we need to get pucks deep instead of trying to beat that extra guy and turning it over."
Curtis Honey stopped 21 shots before being replaced by Jordan Papirny after the sixth Regina goal.
Papirny stopped two of three shots over the final eight minutes and 30 seconds.
Brandon (20-33-2-2) remains 11 points out of a playoff spot in the WHL's Eastern Conference.
The Wheat Kings next action is Wednesday when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers (7:05 p.m., Westman Communications Group Place).
