Walker spent three seasons with the Wheat Kings from 2009-2012, tallying 60 goals and 152 points in 197 games before being dealt to the Saskatoon Blades in May of 2012.
As a 20-year old with the Blades last season, Walker scored 33 goals and 76 points in 72 games while also serving as Saskatoon's captain.

Skinner helped the Grand Rapids Griffins win the American Hockey League title in June and got to spend the day with the Cup on Friday.
Hard to believe Brett's, who won two NCAA titles with Denver in 2004 and 2005, is now 30.
He and I were talking about his career. He's played with 17 different teams (not including some pre-season NHL games) since beginning his Junior career with the BCHL's Trail Smoke Eaters in 2000-2001.
I still remember talking to Brett in the summer of 2004 about how close he came to joining the Wheat Kings for his 20-year old season.
Chaff...Canada's National Junior Team, including Wheat Kings' captain Ryan Pulock, play the United States Saturday in their final game of the exhibition series in Lake Placid, New York. Pulock has two assists in two games so far. No word yet (as of late Friday afternoon) on whether he'll be in Canada's lineup again on Saturday...the Allstate All-Canadians Mentorship Camp concludes Saturday in Mississauga, and you can watch Wheat Kings' prospects Nolan Patrick, Kale Clague and Tanner Kaspick in the intrasquad game at 6:30 p.m. (CDT) on TSN2.
