Canada scored three power-play goals and a fourth on a penalty shot in blanking the host Czech Republic 4-0 in their opening game.
Julio Billia stopped all 13 shots he faced in the Canadian net while Haydn Fleury, Michael Dal Colle and Daniel Audette scored power-play goals for Canada and Spencer Watson had the other goal on a penalty shot in the second period.
Brandon Wheat Kings' forward and Roblin product Jayce Hawryluk has held off the scoresheet except for a pair of minor penalties.
Canada returns to action Tuesday against Sweden (8:30 a.m.).

Brandon Wheat Kings' captain Ryan Pulock and the Canadian junior hockey team is heading to Lake Placid, New York to continue its summer traing camp.
The squad practiced the last two days at the Montreal Canadiens' practice facility, with a lively scrimmage ending in a shootout on Monday.
Next up are exhibition games against Finland, Sweden and the United States.
Coach Brent Sutter says the games will give him a better idea of which players will make the squad that will play at the World Junior Championship in December.
The first contest is Wednesday against Finland.
Chaff...Wheat Kings' prospects Nolan Patrick, Kale Clague and Tanner Kaspick, the club's top three picks in the 2013 Bantam Draft, are taking part in the All-Canadians Mentorship Camp at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario this week. The camp culminates in an inter-squad exhibition game on Saturday that is broadcast on TSN (12:00 p.m. CDT)...the summer camp for Team Western for the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge begins Wednesday in Portage, Manitoba. Six Wheat Kings' prospects will attend -- Mark Taraschuk, Wade Allison, Kirkland Lycar, Dakota Boutin, Tristan Elder and Jesse Gabrielle.
