Nejezchleb In, Hawryluk Out for Wheat Kings Monday

Richard Nejezchleb will be in Brandon's
lineup for Monday's game in Red Deer

  It’s a case of good news and bad news for the Brandon Wheat Kings as they prepare to visit the Red Deer Rebels on Monday night (7:30 p.m., 880 CKLQ).

  The good news is that forward Richard Nejezchleb will not be suspended for the charging major he took in Saturday’s loss in Regina and will be in Brandon’s lineup for their matchup against the Rebels.

  The bad news is forward Jayce Hawryluk will sit out his second straight game as part of a suspension for the checking-from-behind major he received in Friday’s home-ice victory over the Pats.

  The length of Hawryluk’s suspension hasn’t been finalized yet but the fact it continues Monday night doesn’t come as much of a shock.
