Notes
- Jayce Hawryluk serves the second and final game of his two-game suspension tonight while Braylon Shmyr (healthy) and Taylor Green (healthy) are the other two scratches for Brandon.
- The Wheat Kings will change up their defence pairing tonight, with Ryan Pilon and Eric Roy switching spots. The Eric Roy - Ryan Pulock pairing came about after Brandon acquired Pilon rom Lethbridge but never seemed to click. In fact, the duo were a combined -19 in the eight games they played together as a pairing.
- Curtis Honey makes a start in goal for the Wheat Kings for the first time since October 30th. Honey missed 14 games with an upper body injury and dressed Friday night, playing the third period in Brandon's 4-3 loss to Swift Current and stopped all seven shots he faced.
- John Quenneville carries a six-game point streak into Saturday's contest, having scored six goals and 12 points in the last six games. Peter Quenneville and Tim McGauley both have three-game point streak while Rihards Bukarts has goals in three straight games.
- The Wheat Kings have dominated the Warriors, record-wise, in their head-to-head meetings this season. Brandon has won all five games between the two teams this year including the three previous matchups at Mosaic Place. Hard to believe, but it's December 7th and Saturday's game marks the fourth and final visit for Brandon to Moose Jaw for the 2013-2014 regular season.
