- Brandon will be without F Jayce Hawryluk (suspension) while F Brett Kitt (healthy) and D Taylor Green (healthy) are also out tonight.
- Curtis Honey returns from a 14-game absence but will be the backup tonight behind Jordan Papirny, who makes his 15th straight start in goal for Brandon.
- Brandon is 5-0-1-0 in their last six games against East Division opponents, including a 3-2 shootout win in Swift Current on November 20th.
- Quirky stat - forward Jens Meilleur has been a plus or even for 17 consecutive games, the longest currently streak on the Wheat Kings. Meilleur has seven points (2 G, 5 A) and is +9 in that stretch.
- The Wheat Kings were 3-for-5 on the power-play in Wednesday's win over Regina and are 20-for-57 (35.1%) in the last 14 games. Overall, Brandon has the 2nd-ranked power-play in the WHL this season at 26.3%.
