Notes
- As expected, Jayce Hawryluk was suspended by the Western Hockey League today for the checking-from-behind major he received in the third period of Friday's victory over Regina.  The length of the suspension has yet to be determined but given the factors of the hit and Hawryluk having been suspended for two games earlier this season, it's not unreasonable to predict a 5-7 game suspension for the Wheat Kings' forward.

- It's not often you cheer for an opposing player to be in the lineup but that's the case for Brandon in reference to Pats' defenceman Jesse Zgraggen, who will play tonight for Regina.  Zgraggen was the recipient of the Hawryluk hit Friday and left the game afterward.  The fact he's playing tonight could lessen the punishment for Hawryluk from the WHL office.

- In addition to Hawryluk, the Wheat Kings will also sit D Kord Pankewicz (healthy), F Jesse Gabrielle (Team West, U17) and Braylon Shmyr (Team Pacific, U17).

- Filling out the Wheat Kings' forward core tonight will either be Duncan Campbell or Tanner Kaspick.  That determination will be made following warmup but whomever plays tonight will be making their WHL debut.  Campbell currently leads the MMHL in scoring with 25 goals and 59 points in 29 games while Kaspick was Brandon's second round pick in the 2013 Bantam Draft and is third in the league with 19 goals and 43 points in 26 contests.  Both are playing 2013-2014 with the Brandon AAA Midget Wheat Kings.
UPDATE: Campbell is making his WHL debut!!

- The Wheat Kings can even their road record for the season with a regulation victory tonight.  Brandon is 8-9-1-0 on the road so far this season.  They won 11 road games the entire season in 2012-2013.
