Hawryluk Given Two-Game Ban

Jayce Hawryluk has been suspended for
two games by the WHL
The Brandon Wheat Kings will be without their leading scorer when they host the Swift Current Broncos Friday night (7:30 p.m., Westman Communications Group Place)

Jayce Hawryluk has been suspended for two games by the Western Hockey League under supplemental discipline.

The suspension stems from an unpenalized first period hit on Regina Pats' captain Kyle Burroughs in Wednesday's 5-4 victory.

Burroughs suffered a concussion on the play and is out of Regina's lineup indefinitely.

Hawryluk will miss Friday's game against the Broncos and Saturday's contest in Moose Jaw.

He'll be eligible to return to the lineup for Tuesday's home game against the Kamloops Blazers.
