Notes
- The Wheat Kings will scratch D Kord Pankewicz (healthy), F Taylor Cooper (healthy) and F Tyrel Seaman (concussion, out for season) tonight.
- Brandon is looking to snap a six-game losing streak, during which the Wheat Kings have been outscored 29-12 in the process. Brandon has also lost seven in a row on the road, with their last road victory coming January 25th in Red Deer.
- The Wheat Kings have been outshot in 17 of their last 19 games and are giving up a league-high 36.69 shots per game. In fact, Brandon has been outshot for seven straight periods including the overtime period against Swift Current on Wednesday.
- Brandon product Carson Perreaux is on a bit of a roll for the Raiders. Perreaux has points in five straight games, with two goals and eight points in that span. He's clicked since being put on a line with former Wheat King Dakota Conroy and import Leon Draisaitl. They've combined for 25 points in the last seven games.
- Luke Siemens had a spectacular month in goal for Prince Albert. The 20-year old had a 2.43 GAA and .937 SPCT in 12 games last month, going 6-4-1.
