Notes
- The Wheat Kings will scratch F Jayce Hawryluk (upper body), D Kord Pankewicz (healthy), F John Quenneville (knee, out for season) and F Tyrel Seaman (concussion, out for season).  Hawryluk was injured in practice yesterday.  Marek Kalus returns to Brandon's lineup after missing the two games on the weekend because of illness.

- Prospect Jesse Gabrielle will make his WHL debut tonight for the Wheat Kings.  The fifth round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft had 15 goals and 47 points in 28 games playing with the Eagan High School Varsity high school team in Minnesota this season.  He's originally from Moosomin, Saskatchewan.

- Brandon is trying to break a four-game home-ice losing streak tonight.  Of all the disappointments in the Wheat Kings' season, their play at home might be near the top of the list.  Brandon is a league-worst 11-19-3-1 at home this year and have won just four of 17 homes games in the second half of the season.

- Not that this would be meaningful in a lot of ways, but if the Wheat Kings do not win tonight, they'll be assured of finished in 12th-place (last place) in the WHL's Eastern Conference and, quite likely, would finish 20th overall.  While not attractive, it would assure Brandon a chance at the #1 overall pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft at next week's draft lottery and picking no worse than fourth overall.

- Prince Albert has lost five straight heading into Wednesday's contest and are 11-16-3-1 since the calendar turned to 2013.  The Raiders are trying to hold on to fifth-place in the Eastern Conference.  They're currently two points ahead of Swift Current and four ahead of Medicine Hat.  The Broncos and Tigers both have two games left and are idle until Friday.
