Notes
- The Brandon Wheat will welcome F Richard Nejezchleb back to their lineup after missing 21 games with a lacerated finger/hand.  Brandon scratches tonight are D Kord Pankewicz (healthy), F John Quenneville (healthy) and F Tyrel Seaman (concussion).

- I'll be interested to see how the Wheat Kings handle their scratches and starting goaltender over the last eight games.  While you want to ice your best lineup but with the playoffs no longer a possibility, it's also a chance to evaluate for next season.  As noted above, two 16-year olds will sit tonight.

- One of the questions to be answered has to be in goal, where it's expected Jordan Papirny will occupy one of the two spots next season.  The second spot would have to the option to bring Corbin Boes back as a 20-year old OR if you believe Curtis Honey could handle starting 40-45 games next year?   Boes, by the way, will make his third straight start tonight.

- Saskatoon GM/Coach Lorne Molleken is seeking career WHL coaching win #600 tonight.  Molleken is in his 16th season of coaching in the WHL and I asked him before the game how many of his current 599 wins came against the Wheat Kings (he didn't know).  Be interesting to find out but Molleken's coaching career has been in the East Division, and he's coached against Brandon a lot.  I'd have to estimate the somewhere between 50-60 wins have come at the expense of the Wheat Kings.

- The Blades are riding a 17-game winning streak heading into tonight's contest.  They've outscored their opponents 84-27, and Andrey Makarov has a 1.57 GAA and .952 SPCT during the streak.  Yes, he's started every game.  In fact, backup Alex Moodie hasn't played since December 30th.  Blades power-play during the streak is 19-for-73 (26.0%) and penalty-kill is 75-for-81 (92.6%).
