Notes
- Wheat Kings' captain Ryan Pulock (illness) will not play in tonight's showdown for first-place in the WHL's East Division.  Brett Kitt and Braylon Shmyr are Brandon's other scratches.

- With Pulock out, Colton Waltz will be called upon to play in Brandon's top-four for the second straight game, having done so in Saturday's win in Saskatoon when Eric Roy was out of the lineup.  Waltz should be fine in that role 5-on-5 but he isn't the presence Pulock is on the Wheat Kings' power-play.  It'll be interesting to see if the club tries someone else (Pankewicz) on the point on their second unit.

- Jayce Hawryluk goalless streak has hit double digits, with the sophmore forward having gone ten straight games without a goal.  Hawryluk does have seven assists in that span so it isn't like the Roblin product isn't producing offensively, but I'm sure he'd like to break that goal-scoring slump as quickly as possible.

- Curtis Honey won for the first time since December 7th on Saturday, making 33 saves in Brandon's win in Saskatoon and looking the best he has during the second half.  Honey missed large chunks of the first half because of injury and seemed to be shaking off some rust in his first couple of starts since the Christmas break.  He'll get the start in the Wheat Kings' goal tonight.

- From Swift Current's side, defenceman  Julius Honka will play tonight after leaving Swift Current's 7-0 win in Prince Albert on Sunday with an injury.  Honka has 39 points in 38 games this season including three in three contests since returning from the World Junior Hockey Championship, where he helped Finland win a gold medal.
