Notes
- Rihards Bukarts (1-game suspension), John Quenneville (upper body) and Kord Pankewicz will be the Wheat Kings' scratches for tonight's game in Calgary.
- It would be a stretch to say Brandon has struggled on the road, but they haven't picked up wins as often as their play would suggest so far in the second half. The Wheat Kings are 2-3-2-1 in eight road games since the Christmas break, with six of those eight games behind decided by two goals or less.
- Ryan Pulock brings a seven-game point streak into tonight's contest, with three goals and 11 points in that stretch, while Peter Quenneville has points in six straight games (5 G, 6 A).
- Calgary is 2-5-1-0 in eight games since the January 10th trade deadline, and have lost three in a row going into Friday's contest.
- Brandon is looking to end a five-game losing streak at the ScotiaBank Saddledome. The Wheat Kings haven't won in Calgary since January 28, 2011, a 4-3 victory that night.
