Notes
- no changes to the Wheat Kings' lineup tonight, meaning D Colton Waltz (suspension), D Rene Hunter (upper body), F Peter Quenneville (lower body) and F Richard Nejezchleb (lower body) remain out.
- A good omen for Brandon as they attempt to break their eight-game winless streak. The club is a perfect 7-0-0-0 against the Warriors heading into their eighth and final meeting of the 2013-2014 season tonight. John Quenneville (5 G, 4 A) and Eric Roy (1 G, 8 A) have nine points each vs. Moose Jaw this season.
- Tonight's game concludes a busy stretch for the Wheat Kings as they play their 15th game in 26 days. Brandon won't play again until Wednesday, when they host Lethbridge, so not only will they get a few days off (finally!) but they also won't have to travel.
- a tough season for the Warriors, who are 15-36-3-6 overall including a 5-15-0-3 record since the Christmas break. One bright spot is Brayden Point, who is 17th in the WHL in scoring with 69 points. That's 27 points higher than his closest teammate in the Warriors' scoring race.
