- The term 'gut-check time' might apply to the Brandon Wheat Kings entering Wednesday's game. Brandon has lost six of their last eight games, and have won just three of 12 road games since the Christmas break.
- Rihards Bukarts (upper body) misses his third straight game while Jesse Gabrielle is also out tonight for Brandon. The Wheat Kings final scratch will be determined following the pre-game warmup.
- This is the first game between Brandon and Lethbridge since the November 16th blockbuster that saw the Wheat Kings acquire Ryan Pilon and prospect Colt Conrad from the Hurricanes for Nick Walters, Taylor Cooper and prospect Tanner Browne. Pilon and Walters will be among the guests on our pre-game show on CKLQ.
