Notes
- Same lineup for the Wheat Kings today as it was for Saturday's loss in Edmonton. G Corbin Boes (lower body, indefinite), F Richard Nejezchleb (hand/thumb, indefinite), F Tyrel Seaman (concussion, out for season) and D Kord Pankewicz (healthy) are the Brandon scratches.
- It's a quick turnaround for the Wheat Kings as they play their third game in three nights on this Alberta road trip. It's not an ideal scenerio for Brandon against a home team that did not play last night.
- Brandon's power-play is continuing to struggle, and have misfired on 19 straight power-play chances going into tonight's contest. The Wheat Kings are 2/10ths of a percentage point from being last in the WHL in both power-play and penalty-kill success rate. Brandon's power-play is 14.7%, just ahead of Prince George's 14.5% success rate.
- Brandon defenceman Eric Roy has scored in back-to-back games, with last night's tally in Edmonton being the 100th career point for the third-year blueliner.
- The Wheat Kings have allowed 187 shots against in their last four contests, and average of 46.8 against per game.
