Notes:
- Curtis Honey (upper body) misses his 11th straight game for the Wheat Kings while F Brett Kitt, F Jesse Gabrielle and F Braylon Shmyr are all healthy scratches for Brandon tonight.
- Brandon shuffled their lines during the second half of Friday's loss to Kootenay and those new combinations (listed above) will stick together for the start of tonight's game. The Wheat Kings will also dress 11 forwards and seven defencemen for tonight's contest.
- The Wheat Kings are trying to bounce back from a particularly disappointing performance, probably Brandon's worst overall effort since an 8-6 loss in Prince Albert back on September 27th.
- Three is the magic # for the Wheat Kings so far this season. When Brandon allows three or fewer goals, the club is 13-1-0-0 this year. When allowing four or more, they are 0-11-1-0.
- MacKenzie Skapski will get the start in goal for Kootenay tonight. The New York Rangers' draft pick had missed nine straight game because of a lower body injury.
