- Brandon will sit G Curtis Honey (upper body), D Kord Pankewicz (healthy), F Tyler Coulter (healthy) and F Brett Kitt (healthy).
- goaltender Christopher Tai (pronounced tie) will make his Wheat Kings' debut tonight, albeit in a backup capacity to Jordan Papirny. Tai was acquired from Lethbridge on Thursday for a conditional eighth round pick in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
- Brandon is 6-2-1-0 in nine games so far this month, including a 4-0-1-0 record in five road games. Jayce Hawryluk (13 pts), Ryan Pulock (12 pts) and Richard Nejezchleb (11 pts) are leading the way offensively for Brandon this month while Jordan Papirny has played all nine games, posting a 2.97 GAA and .903 SPCT.
- Tim McGauley (5 games) and Peter Quenneville (4 games) both had point-scoring streaks snapped Wednesday in Medicine Hat. McGauley had nine points (4 G, 5 A) and Quenneville had five points (2 G, 3 A) during their streaks.
- Had a chance to speak to Brandon product and Kootenay defenceman Landon Cross prior to the game and will have that interview during our pre-game show. Cross has two assists and a -4 rating in 13 games with the Ice since being acquired from the Kamloops Blazers on October 22nd.
