Roy Expected to Return

Eric Roy should return to Brandon's
lineup Friday

  The Brandon Wheat Kings look to extend their winning streak to a season-high three games Friday night when they entertain the Saskatoon Blades (7:30 p.m., Westman Communications Group Place).

  The Wheat Kings hope to have Eric Roy back in their lineup after the fourth-year defenceman missed Wednesday's 5-2 win in Saskatoon with a leg injury.

  Roy suffered the injury Monday when he blocked a shot in Brandon's victory over Lethbridge.

  He practiced fully with the Wheat Kings on Thursday.


  Meanwhile, goaltender Curtis Honey took to the ice at the end of practice Thursday.

  Honey took some shots from assistant coaches Darren Ritchie and David Anning as he works his way back from an upper body injury.

  Honey has missed the last six games.
