Richard Nejezchleb and John Quenneville scored a pair of goals each for the Wheat Kings, with both of Quenneville's goals coming on the power-play.
That gives Brandon six power-play goals in 15 chances over the last two games.
"Great puck movement, we're getting pucks and bodies to the net. Having Ryan Pulock, a big gun from the point there, it's really good for us," said Quenneville on CKLQ's post-game show, "He's so deadly back there with his slapshot, he gives time and space for other guys on the ice, not only the shot he has himself, but he opens up holes for other guys out on the ice."
Pulock and Rihards Bukarts added a pair of assists each for Brandon while Jordan Papirny stopped 27 shots in the Wheat Kings net.
Dalton Thrower and Anthony Ast had a goal and an assist each for Vancouver with Jackson Houck scored the other goal for the Giants.
Brandon is now 3-and-0 on home-ice this season, with the club trying to establish itself as a very tough team to play against at Westman Communications Group Place.
"Over the years, we've always been a team that's been really good on home ice and we take a lot of pride in that," said Brandon GM/Coach Kelly McCrimmon, "It just hasn't been that way the last couple of years and that's really something that we're working towards."
The Wheat Kings continue their home stand by hosting the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday night (7:30 p.m., Westman Communications Group Place).
