Notes
- all five of Brandon's scratches tonight are healthy scratches; D Dominic Thom, D Kord Pankewicz, F Tyler Coulter, F Brett Kitt and F Jesse Gabrielle.

- a couple of statistical oddities to ponder heading into Saturday's contest.  The Wheat Kings have outshot their opponent in five straight games after being outshot in each of their first six contests of the season.  In those first six games, Brandon gave up an average of 38.4 shots per game.  In the last five, that average has dropped to 28.4 per game.

- Chad Robinson becomes the third Wheat Kings to hit the 200-game plateau for his WHL career tonight.  Robinson has 23 goals and 71 points in 199 games; 12 goals and 27 points in 70 games with the Wheat Kings.  Ryan Pulock hit the 200 game mark on Monday and Eric Roy played game #200 on Wednesday night in Moose Jaw.

- Wednesday's overtime win in Moose Jaw was the 336th for Kelly McCrimmon in his Wheat Kings' coaching career, leaving him 18th all-time in the list for most coaching wins.  It's four shy of Bob Loucks for 17th and and five behind Marc Habscheid for 16th.  However, Wednesday's win in Moose Jaw was the 300th for McCrimmon since returning behind the bench late in the 2003-2004 season.

- Pink the Rink night means special themed pink jersey's for the Wheat Kings tonight.  One of features of the pink jerseys are the names for close to 40 people who lost their battle to cancer.  In August, the Wheat Kings sent a letter to season ticket holders and asked for names to be submitted to be included on the jerseys.  Among those included are former Wheat Kings' Athletic Therapist Rob Stoufer and long-time Wheat Kings' education liason Bob Hamilton.
